When someone is lying the best thing to do is "BRING THE RECEIPTS!" So I have the receipts to prove that you may have received messages from a guy named John Franklin who is blatantly LYING TO YOU. He's upset I didn't endorse him for a political office and when you read the FACTS below you'll know why I oppose him:
I authored the CA Voter ID Initiative and along with our 18,000 volunteers statewide worked every day for 6 months to get the 1.4 million signatures to put it on the November ballot. You can imagine my OUTRAGE when John Franklin lied to you and claimed he supports CA Voter ID. The fact is John Franklin attacked our campaign to collect signatures on the CA Voter ID Initiative - calling it a "fraud" campaign - and urged donors to not support us.

John Franklin took over $50,000 to run the campaign to pass a massive sales tax hike in North County San Diego. Yes, he literally ran the campaign to raise your taxes! (Fortunately, we beat him and defeated the tax hike!)

You may have seen the FAKE Republican Voter Guides being mailed out from "Corey Gustafson" that falsely claim to be OFFICIAL endorsements of the local party. What you don't know is John Franklin not only helped to FUND these dishonest mailers to fool voters, but the meta data for the associated website showed he designed the FAKE guide! Now he's sending out emails and texts with phony endorsements.

I'm not surprised that John Franklin is now getting ESTABLISHMENT sellout Republicans to lie for him.
The Swamp protects fellow sellouts like John Franklin - all while betraying you. That's why California continues to be a mess!
And THIS is why Reform California exists - to hold the establishment politicians accountable and back proven FIGHTERS for office!
Finally, for the record, John Franklin is only attacking me because I refused to endorse him. (From the facts above you now know why.)
Rebecca Jones is a proven FIGHTER who helped us defeat the crazy county Mileage Tax and serves as a regional co-chair of the CA Voter ID Initiative campaign. I trust her to never lie to us or betray us like John Franklin has.
John Franklin even defamed me by claiming I only support Rebecca Jones because she "bought" my endorsement for $45k. This is pure BULL**** - a complete and utter lie that I will not allow to go unanswered. My attorneys are now preparing legal action against Franklin for this defamation.
