Measure A (NO)
Amends City Charter to Allow Long-Term Leases of City Property and Easier Approval of City Contracts

This measure would eliminate Charter provisions that limit leases of City property to a maximum term of 50 years and would allow the City Council to approve contracts longer than 5 years by a simple resolution rather than through an ordinance subject to citizen referenda.

Measure B (NO)
City of Lompoc Sales Tax Increase

Imposes a new costly sales tax despite massive levels of wasteful spending, giving government workers massive salary hikes and pension spikes, and awarding contracts to political supporters without fair and open competition.

Statewide Candidate Races

STATEWIDE OFFICES

Governor: Steve Hilton OR Chad Bianco

Both Steve Hilton and Chad Bianco are good men and would make a great Governor. However, there is a risk of a shut out if Republicans split their votes - thus allowing two Democrats to advance into the runoff. While Reform California is not endorsing one candidate over the other, we strongly recommend that voters review the latest polling on this race to unite behind whichever candidate is in the lead and has the best chance to make it into the runoff.
